Adwoa Andoh is a self taught Ghanaian-American artist. She describes art as a mechanism for processing the world around her and a means of escaping the world when need be. Her work focuses on highlighting the magic and essence of Black people (especially Black women). She does this through her portraiture work in oil and acrylic paint.

Adwoa loves to play with colors and liminal spaces. She is still exploring her art style and different media and dabbles in charcoal, watercolor and resin work. She wants her work to inspire Black people and encourage them to believe in the magic that they possess.
